Opening Reception
1 August – 30 September 2025
This summer, Ysasi Gallery is proud to present a group exhibition exploring the breadth and depth of the printed image. Featuring works by Mitsuo Miura, Norman Mooney, Sergio Belinchón, and Aleix Plade- munt Pérez, the exhibition brings together a range of processes—from traditional engraving to contemporary photography and photoengraving—to reflect on space, memory, and material transformation.
Each artist approaches the print not merely as reproduction, but as a space for inquiry. Mitsuo Miura’s minimal compositions evoke quiet spatial tensions, while Norman Mooney’s Black Valley series captures the meditative weight of form through dense black textures and sculptural impressions. Sergio Belinchón offers a photographic lens on the constructed landscape, blurring fact and fiction in his exploration of urban traces. Aleix Plademunt Pérez’s Espacios Comunes investigates shared environments and collective memory through a precise, conceptual photographic practice.
Together, these works reveal the enduring potential of print to bridge image and surface, documentation and interpretation.
