Sergio Belinchón

Sergio Belinchón has been cultivating photography since 1997. After his education at the School of Fine Arts in Valencia and a scholarship at the School of Spain in Paris, he worked for the architect Santiago Calatrava and later obtained a scholarship from the Academy of Spain in Rome. Starting in 2003, he also works with video as a form of expression, undertaking projects in which both mediums mutually enhance each other. The themes around which his work revolves include the city as a stage for the lives of its inhabitants, the transformation of the landscape, tourism, and spaces where reality and artificiality blur. Many of his projects explore the relationship that humans establish with this environment in their absence
