Henry Ramírez Ayala

Henry Ramírez (Bogotá, Colombia, 1964) earned a master's degree in Fine Arts in Colombia, specializing in printmaking. He taught at the University until 1993 when he moved to Spain with a postgraduate scholarship, attending doctoral courses at San Fernando and participating in numerous group exhibitions since then. His work is highly distinctive, showcasing a refined fantastic realism that avoids the mundane to recreate imaginary worlds through subtle analogies and nostalgic evocations. His technique is impeccable, characterized by neatness, meticulousness, and elegant composition.
